Hello. My name is Wlad, an impaler, a food critic and a connoisseur of haute cuisine. For my culinary adventure I visited Eger in Hungary with my beautiful wife. We tried every restaurant and cafe in this little, rustic mountain village. Only one place lured us back in time and time again. Circele, a cozy cafe with idealistic ambitions. In a political climate stretching over all corners of the world, feeding hate and nurturing phobic ideas, this establishment mirrors the Gallic hamlet among an oppressing force, a faint but unresting light in clouding darkness. Here we found not only amazing, organic food but a sustainable concept, renouncing waste, protecting our planet and nature and beauty, and forming a symbiotic relationship between the Flora, Fauna and humans, welcoming the endless diversity of life itself, and bathing our heart in cleansing warmth. Thank you and keep fighting the good flight.

The breakfast was the best one we had in Eger. The oatmeal and the beans paste on the sandwich were heaven on earth. We will definitely come back one day! And I would recommend to look around the store after having breakfast. We found some very unique things to try.

An oasis for vegans in Eger. The perfect place to have a breakfast or fast lunch with good and healthy food. The lady owner was so kind to us without knowing English too. There’s also a shop.

Zero-waste meets breakfast and brunch. It’s the one stop shop and cafe that I want to visit every week. The employees are helpful and the food was fantastic. My only complaint is that it’s too far from where I live!

We were thoroughly pleased with our breakfast experience. There was a wide array of plant-based meals which we greatly appreciated. The orange cappuccino with ceylon cinnamon, a seasonal offer, was utterly delicious. Their "fahéjas áfonyás zabkása" was out of this world! Staff were prompt and accomodating. We would also like to commend their zero waste efforts!

Very cute place and very fine dishes! Don't let the size of the place fool you, it has a lot of charm and quality that surpasses larger or more established diners. Everything looked and tasted good, a must have for brunch or breakfast enjoyers!
